Keyboard Shortcuts

These shortcuts work in the Testable trial file editor.

Selection

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl/Cmd + Arrow`	Move focus to the next cell with content, or to the last cell in a row/column
`Space`	Select row
`Enter`	Enter cell editor, or move to the cell below when in cell editor
`Shift + Arrow`	Expand selection to include multiple cells

Deletion and insertion

Shortcut	Action
`Delete`	Delete content from a cell
`Shift + Delete`	Delete entire row (select the row first with `Space` or by clicking its row number)
`Shift + Enter`	Paste content from the selected cell into all rows of the same column, or from the top cell into all other selected rows
`Ctrl/Cmd + ,`	Open the row menu to duplicate or delete rows

Copy and paste

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl/Cmd + C`	Copy
`Ctrl/Cmd + V`	Paste
`Ctrl/Cmd + X`	Cut

Find and replace

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl/Cmd + F`	Search for a term in the trial file
`Ctrl/Cmd + G`	Search and replace a term in the trial file

Undo / Redo

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl/Cmd + Z`	Undo
`Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + Z`	Redo

Other

Shortcut	Action
`Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + +`	Open the menu to select and add a new column
